SO since the three of us have pretty much taken over the community (LOL), should we do some sort of small universe plot?? Like something along the lines of that no powers situation. 8D

It would be fun to do something similar to what went down in the early gen x books where everyone was mind tricked into being the one thing that made them happy. Except since obviously some of our characters have BEEN THERE it can be sort of a twisted version instead? I guess sort of like those old fashioned stories (can't always get what you want) where in order to get the one nice thing you want in your life, you have to sacrifice something else?

OH MY GOD YES THE MONKEY'S PAW/GENIE THING. Like, for example, Paige wishes "I wish I didn't have problems with my powers" and her powers go away but so do all of her memories regarding her powers (and people she met while having said powers). Like a "be careful what you wish for" sort of thing?? But some characters (more than others) would be cognizant that something isn't right?

Yes exactly! Like I think people who have certain immunities or psions might end up being more aware more quickly that something isn't right, yeah. Then some other poor schmucks go along with it for a lot longer lmao

I think I could easily come up with things for all of my characters, for sure. :D

Kiden - her wish is to have her dad alive and well and never got shot. So she would have grown up to be a much different person if he'd lived (family would not have been poor, she would have been happy, stayed in school, never been on the streets. Never would have met Tatiana, either.) So she would probably end up being the exact opposite of who she is...ie. lose her sense of self. Maybe for the better? Maybe not.

Warren - would obviously wish that his children were here. Catch? They come in, he gets sent home. :D Basically a straight exchange and it would make for some funny CR in the sense that we would have two unsupervised mutant toddlers in the building.

Jono - Has his mouth, is a singer in a band...but they end up being a one hit wonder and everything he puts out after his single hit is very critically reviewed and flops.

Josh - still stuck on him...but will do some thinking!

For Paige I'm going to have her (carelessly and not really meaning it) wish she forgot what happened to Jay but it goes completely fuck all crazy and she forgets her entire family and thinks she grew up in an orphanage and got a scholarship to go to NYU. This will bring so much angst.

Not sure what to do for Nori but probably something along the lines of what Kiden wished for, except she wishes that her parents had accepted her (but for them to accept her, she obviously would have no powers and would have grown up a lot different).

Still need to figure out what to do for Gert and Kitty :|a

Kiden and Nori can be in the lame dorky kid club together

I am debating not having anything happen to Gert and she can't figure out why and it's like she's either too jaded and cynical to wish for everything or she's actually fine with how her life is right now LOLOL All she knows is she probably needs therapy

I imagine Kiden and Nori after are like oh my GOD WE WERE SO BORING

What would you do with your guys? I know last night you were expressing some doubt about Angelo but I did have a thought this morning!

Seeing as how he's graduated Mass Academy, moved to L.A. with Jubilee and now came here only to learn that he's died...perhaps you can just go with the notion that it's changed things? Especially learning that he's died. There's got to be something that he wishes he would have done differently, right? Maybe you can play around with that so you don't have to stick with anything similar to what happened in that arc in the books. :)
