Dark kids are dark, yes. Things have slightly gone mad in their world, and I have more deets if you need them! But I know the four of us all have descriptions on the character journals about what the deal is with their backgrounds, so feel free to have a peek! Then if you'd like to know more, hit me up.

But basically they didn't wanna deal with Schism, went their own way to carry on the dream while the two alpha morons measured their dicks. I think the best way to describe their team is Post-Liefeld 90's X-Force? More willing to cut corners and do what needs to be done to fight for mutant rights. But mostly they want to just be able to not be used as pawns anymore, etc. etc.

SOME details from Kevin and Josh's actual canon were tweaked, too. So in this AU for example, Cyclops never had an assassin hit squad and Selene's Necrosha never happened.

So happy to have Cessily join us, though, you have NO IDEA. :D

sweeeeet, that sounds very fun to play around with. I read it all while lurking and figuring out whether to bring Cessily in from the OU or AU and thought she could fit in the latter! they've killed too, right?

Yes, they have killed. I would probably say that things are typically discussed and planned within the team and who exactly is doing what in terms of roles, but you can feel free to jimmy up how Cessily feels going into missions and how she copes afterward. Keryn is probably the better person to talk to about strategies only because Nori's calling the shots!

In terms of how Josh and Cessily get along, though...are you cool with saying they've gotten close? Even though he's gone all dark and twisty!hippie, he's still really affectionate and friendly with the desire to please friends.

And canon never really let MUCH of a friendship develop between them, so I'd be down with developing that more if you are! :)
