It's also in cessily's interests that their teammates don't kill themselves or angst to death so it's not all on you nori! (I just need to figure out a reason for why she joined her though she wouldn't have a problem with nori leading at all, I think.)

I think I saw you guys talking it out amongst yourselves in the comments but I think Nori and Cessily should be good friends bcuz MORE FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS ALWAYS. Plus Noriko would like, take a bullet for any of her teammates, so there's always that.

Like maybe they started out as regular teammates-- they liked each other just fine but nothing special-- but over time they just came to like/trust each other? Like there was a particularly bad mission that went down and one saved the other and it just sort of snowballed from there

(plus they are probably the most well adjusted ones, lbr)

She pretty much just drags Noriko home, let's be real.

oh my god yes, Cess is the mom who is loving and kind but will be stern when she has to and Nori is the dad who tries to be tough but ends up letting the kids smoke pot in the garage because she doesn't want to deal with it.
