We need to figure out what Kev and Cessily's relationship would be like now!

hMMMMMMM. So, I figure Cess has grown up some, what with all her time with friends and out from under the shadow of the x-adults and x-school and all. that means much more confidence and way less insecurity about being a mutant and looking the way she does. It was probably really awkward between them at first especially with Laurie around? But she probably started off thinking if she couldn't have his heart she'd damn sure have his back, and they must have saved each other's skin a dozen times over by now, PLUS her feelings must've faded some time ago. So-- she's over it and they're practically adults (or pretending to be)? She probably nags him a little. And will always listen to him if he ever wants to talk about anything.

I think they'd be very close, too! However, he is going to be very withdrawn and avoidant of this Laurie for numerous reasons, so he probably sulks to her about it sometimes. He would prefer Cessily's company to Laurie 100%.

I'd say Cess was probably the person who got him to come back with the team (as in, helped him make his choice). Seeing how much she tried to get him back in canon, I think that could fit? If that's okay with you?

More than okay, that fits great! She's really glad that he came after all and didn't end up dead (not that she entertained that possibility in this verse). They've probably also trained/finetuned/fiddled around with their powers quite a bit?

Oh, yes definitely! Kevin still can't control his powers all the way--I have a write up of his story in this universe at his journal. I could say they definitely practice together!
